Solution Cases [case-020] Powder Treatment Tube Furnace

Problem

For heat treatment of powders, our customers have requests such as the following.

• Heat powders without using a boat or other jig to hold them during heat treatment.
• Mix the powder while heating it.

Solution

We developed a tube furnace having a structure that allows the following.

• The furnace and tube can be tilted.
• The tube can be rotated in the axial direction.

Results

• Powder can be loaded and unloaded to/from the tube directly.
• The powder can be mixed as it is heated, ensuring uniform heating of the powder.
